Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our team at Proactive Appointments Limited. As a Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our clients' desktop infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for desktop-related issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
  • Implement and maintain desktop imaging and software deployment processes.
  • Manage mobile device management (MDM) solutions, including Airwatch and In-Tune.
  • Configure and maintain Citrix Netscaler and other related technologies.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems, including updates and installations of antivirus software.
  • Collaborate with the IT manager to ensure support tickets meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Develop and maintain networking knowledge to support desktop infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar 2nd Line/Desktop role.
  • Strong technical skills, including networking knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
