Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our team at Proactive Appointments Limited. As a Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our clients' desktop infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop-related issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
- Implement and maintain desktop imaging and software deployment processes.
- Manage mobile device management (MDM) solutions, including Airwatch and In-Tune.
- Configure and maintain Citrix Netscaler and other related technologies.
- Ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems, including updates and installations of antivirus software.
- Collaborate with the IT manager to ensure support tickets meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and maintain networking knowledge to support desktop infrastructure.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar 2nd Line/Desktop role.
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of desktop operating systems, hardware, and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to other sites as required.
