Global Oil & Gas Business Development Expert

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Business Development Specialist to join our client's dynamic team in the oil and gas industry. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives within a global organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and refine economic models, including linear programming (LP) and net present value (NPV) calculations, to support project feasibility assessments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on key economic parameters and investment criteria.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and optimize project value.
  • Evaluate the competitiveness of chemical products and propose strategies to enhance overall profitability.
  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates, schedules, and project deliverables for management review and approval.
  • Interface with government agencies, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders to facilitate project development.
  • Contribute to the development of scopes of work for third-party build-own-operate (BOO) projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the refining and chemicals industry.
  • Proven expertise in linear programming (LP) and economic modeling techniques.
  • Strong understanding of project finance principles and execution strategies.
  • Experience in evaluating and selecting third-party BOO/BOOT projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
