About the Role

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Autism Practitioner to join our team in Orkney. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with autism, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with autism, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and preferences.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans, working closely with individuals, their families, and other professionals.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of autism and its impact on individuals and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including the Scottish Autism Strategy.
