Bid Manager

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join our team at MTrec Commercial. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and managing bids and proposals to secure new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage bids and proposals to meet business objectives
- Manage the commercial tendering process, ensuring timely visibility of all opportunities
- Lead on, write and project manage bids and proposals from beginning to end
- Manage the bid/no bid process and decision making
- Responsible for devising a successful strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points and understanding customer requirements
- Responsible for the quality of all aspects of the bid, including written documentation and presentation material
- Research, write and prepare pre-qualification and tender documents to ensure timely delivery
- Attend departmental BDM meetings and liaise with the head of the department to support the implementation of their plans
- Assist with the review of contract performance by collating data from the system and customer feedback forms
- Prepare and upkeep high-quality responses to be used as reference in future
Requirements:
- Experience in bid writing and commercial tendering
- Customer relationship focused and great commercial awareness
- Ability to effectively prioritise a busy workload and meet project deadlines with proven project management skills
- UK driving licence
