Bid Manager Job Description

Bridge Recruitment UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing the bid team to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Commercial Tendering Process Management: Collaborate with the Commercial Manager and Bid Administrator to ensure timely visibility of all opportunities.
  2. Bid and Proposal Development: Lead on, write, and project manage bids and proposals from beginning to end.
  3. Bid/No Bid Process Management: Contribute to the bid/no bid process and decision-making.
  4. Bid Team Management: Oversee the bid team during the bid process, ensuring deadlines are met.
  5. Quality Assurance: Responsible for the quality of all aspects of the bid, including written documentation and presentation material.
  6. Content Creation: Write high-quality text, ensuring consistency in terms of quality, key phrases, and key words.
  7. Departmental Collaboration: Attend departmental BDM meetings and liaise with the head of the department to support the implementation of plans.
  8. Contract Performance Review: Assist with the review of contract performance by collating data from Salesforce and customer feedback.
  9. Knowledge Management: Prepare and maintain high-quality responses for future reference.
  10. Customer Focus: Customer relationship focused with great commercial awareness.
  11. Technical Skills: Experienced in bid writing and working knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud is an advantage.
  12. Project Management: Ability to effectively prioritize a busy workload and meet project deadlines with proven project management skills.
  13. UK Driving License: UK driving license is required.
