Mortgage Services Development Manager

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a current Mortgage Advisor to transition into a managerial role after gaining approximately 12 to 18 months of experience, with an expected earnings potential of £65k.

Objective:

To assist the Mortgage Services Sales Manager with supervisory duties as needed, while also driving revenue and product sales in the capacity of a Mortgage Advisor.

Key Responsibilities of a Mortgage Services Development Manager:

Mentor and nurture less experienced team members. Provide supervisory support regarding all aspects of Training & Competence requirements for a team of mortgage advisors, as coordinated with the Sales Manager.

Essential Knowledge Required:

Comprehensive understanding of core Financial Services products, including Mortgages, Life Assurance, Critical Illness, Income Protection, and Buildings & Contents Insurance. Familiarity with secondary services related to house purchases/moves, such as Conveyancing and Estate Agency operations. A solid level of technical and e-commerce knowledge to effectively promote the group's services. Awareness of Financial Services compliance regulations specific to mortgage and protection sectors. Understanding of the Training and Competence framework, along with a thorough grasp of the Group's T & C Scheme requirements. Exceptional communication abilities. Proven track record in sales and customer-facing roles. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to plan and manage time effectively. Proficient negotiation and influencing capabilities. Ability to identify and capitalize on potential business opportunities. Aptitude for coaching and motivating others, particularly in business generation. Skill in assessing and analyzing client needs to ensure positive customer outcomes.

Background, Experience, and Qualifications

Minimum of two years in financial services, ideally with nine months as a Senior Mortgage Advisor. Demonstrated consistent performance in business production and quality. Awareness of the latest products and market trends. Relevant professional qualifications to meet the role's requirements, such as Certificate in Financial Planning or Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), or equivalent recognized industry credentials.
