Professional Indemnity Development Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales professional to join our team as a Development Executive specialising in Professional Indemnity insurance.
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expanding our portfolio within the North Region.
Your primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet the needs of professional clients.
Key Responsibilities- New Business Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling and accurate sales pitches, presentations, and proposals to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our Professional Indemnity insurance products and services.
- Market Research & Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and ensure we remain competitive in the market.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including underwriting and claims departments, to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal client outcomes.
- Reporting & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards sales targets.
- Sales Experience: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets within the insurance industry, preferably in Professional Indemnity or related commercial insurance lines.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, including active listening, persuasive speaking, and the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Negotiation & Closing: Strong negotiation skills with a focus on closing deals and securing long-term client commitments.
- Organisational Skills: Excellent multitasking, time management, and organisational abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Resilience & Drive: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced sales environment.
