About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Business Intelligence Developer to join our Technology Change team at Yorkshire Water. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering a cohesive SAP Business Intelligence strategy aligned with our wider IT architecture and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop solutions using SAP technologies to demonstrate new capabilities and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Work with SAP Security colleagues to ensure solutions deliver the appropriate level of security while minimizing adverse effects on the user experience.
  • Provide technical leadership to review the impact of system fixes, patches, upgrades, and decommissioning on the BI landscape to minimize risks and establish effective mitigating controls.
  • Drive delivery of specified components as part of a capital project and seek out capital efficiencies through innovative development and delivery methods.
  • Proactively work with Technology Framework Partners to enhance services, reduce costs, manage risk, and build resilience while ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory obligations.
Requirements
  • A thorough understanding of SAP systems and landscapes.
  • Experience working with SAP Development Technologies.
  • Experience developing BI solutions using SAP ABAP CDS Views and SAP Fiori Elements.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • A solid understanding of SAP Solution Manager relating to Release Management and Incident Management.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
