About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team at Interface Recruitment UK. As a key member of our systems development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing business intelligence solutions that drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Schedule and Complete Work: Ensure project deliverables are achieved and support business requirements by scheduling and completing work within Systems Development.
  2. Support Day-to-Day Operations: Complete work that supports the day-to-day operations of our GROUPS IT software.
  3. Contribute to Business Intelligence Direction: Provide input into the direction of Business Intelligence and support the lead developer for small and large development projects.
  4. Develop Database Solutions: Work from high-level designs to develop resilient, high-performance database solutions that conform to our existing standards.
  5. Support Project-Based Tasks: Develop responsibility and get involved in project-based tasks focusing on the development stage, but also providing support where necessary throughout the product life cycle.
  6. Business Intelligence Experience: Any experience of developing Business Intelligence solutions in a commercial setting would be beneficial.
  7. Technical Skills: Experience of using the SQL Server 2008 platform and tools, including Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server Management Studio, as well as SQL for data querying, programming, and creation of database objects as part of larger solutions.
  8. Desirable Skills: Experience in designing end-to-end data warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions, using Analysis Services to develop OLAP cubes, Excel for data manipulation and display, Transact SQL (T-SQL), analysis tools, and MDX queries to work with OLAP cube data.
Requirements
  • Industry/Professional Qualifications: Industry/professional qualifications in a relevant subject, such as Microsoft Developer certifications or Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing, are not necessary but may be advantageous.
