About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mental Health Practitioner to join our Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team as a Band 6 specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality assessment and treatment services to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals experiencing acute mental health difficulties and provide specialist crisis interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members and contribute to the development of the team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker with current registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Previous experience in a crisis resolution or home treatment setting, with a strong understanding of mental health legislation and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
