About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting the business to achieve the aims of our health and safety policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure health and safety best practices are integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership of IOSH with a minimum of three years of continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Excellent working knowledge of health and safety regulations and frameworks.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to present and advocate for health and safety measures persuasively.
  • Proficiency in report writing and data analysis.
  • Full UK driving licence.
