About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at CareTech Group.

As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of our care services.

You will be responsible for deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager, managing staff to ensure the needs of our children and young people are met, and undertaking direct work with them as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of our care services
  • Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager
  • Manage staff to ensure the needs of our children and young people are met
  • Undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate
  • Manage child protection concerns and complaints
  • Work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people
  • Offer supervision and support to senior staff

Requirements:

  • Diploma 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Working towards or holds a level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare
  • Current driving license
  • 1 year's relevant supervisory experience in the care sector
