Care Team Leader

At New Care, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our team at Bridgewater Manor Care Centre. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in providing leadership and support to our care team, ensuring the highest standards of care and comfort for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to the care team, promoting a culture of excellence and person-centered care.
- Manage and allocate duties to ensure a high-quality delivery of care to residents.
- Supervise and mentor care staff, providing coaching and feedback to support their growth and development.
- Ensure effective assessment, planning, and implementation of resident care plans, in collaboration with the care team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, enhancing the overall care experience for residents.
- Medication management and administration experience.
- Experience working with older adults, preferably in a residential or nursing care setting.
- NVQ Level 2 in Social Care or equivalent, with a commitment to achieving NVQ Level 3 within 12 months.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Self-motivated and confident, with a passion for delivering high-quality care and supporting the growth and development of the care team.
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.25.
- A full-time contract with excellent shift times and alternate weekend working.
