Investment Accounting Oversight Specialist

M&G plc is seeking a highly skilled Investment Accounting Oversight Specialist to join our team.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced professional to work on the onboarding of a new supplier and be part of the design and implementation of a new model. The successful candidate will have a background in Financial Services with an understanding of Investment Accounting and experience of influencing at various levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on the onboarding of a new supplier and be part of the design and implementation of the new model.
- Act as a point of contact for all data matters relating to third-party accounting records.
- Collaborate with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls to support improvement of the overall control environment, customer outcomes, and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.
- Analysis of emerging trends and issues.
Requirements
- Technical experience of the pricing and workings of Investment Funds and alternative assets.
- Experience of different asset types and valuation methodologies.
- Previous experience within an accounting oversight function within Financial Services.
