Investment Accounting Oversight Specialist

Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance controls, ensuring the overall control environment, customer outcomes, and reduction in operational risk.
- Work within established frameworks and procedures, interpreting them to solve a range of problems.
- Meet the required standard for the governance framework for oversight of third-party suppliers, ensuring they deliver in accordance with defined service level agreements.
- Analyze emerging trends and issues.
- Develop the oversight framework and continual process improvement.
- Ensure all controls and procedures are documented up to date.
- Technical experience of the pricing and workings of Investment Funds and alternative assets.
- Experience of different asset types and valuation methodologies.
- Previous experience within an accounting oversight function within Financial Services.
- Experience in setting up new processes and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn through practical application.
- Accountant by qualification or experience.
