The Role:

As a Civil & Structural Designer (Gas), you will play a crucial role in delivering design solutions for various projects within the oil & gas sector. You will collaborate closely with the Project Design Lead and Lead Civil and Structural Engineer, contributing to the development of comprehensive designs from concept to execution.

  • Produce detailed civil and structural engineering designs using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or Advance Steel.
  • Interpret general arrangement drawings and scopes of work, transforming them into comprehensive engineering designs.
  • Identify design scope changes and effectively communicate them to the Project Design Lead and Lead Civil and Structural Engineer.
  • Participate in internal and external design reviews, providing valuable insights and support to the project team.

Your Profile:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil & Structural Designer with a strong understanding of engineering principles and design practices.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Advance Steel, or similar software.
  • Solid knowledge of civil and structural engineering concepts, as well as a good understanding of other engineering disciplines (EC&I, Mechanical, Piping, Process).
  • HNC/HND in Civil / Structural Engineering is preferred.
  • Incorporated Engineer status is an advantage.
  • Experience with temporary works designs is a plus.
  • Familiarity with laser scanning and the creation of detailed models from scans is desirable.
