About the Role
As a Programme Procurement Manager at Babcock International Group, you will play a critical role in driving strategic sourcing and procurement excellence across our programmes. You will lead a team of procurement professionals, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of our supply chain outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet programme requirements, ensuring maximum performance, minimal risk, and optimal cost.
- Provide leadership and guidance to internal and external stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact for procurement-related matters.
- Lead bid teams to develop and submit high-quality bids that meet programme requirements.
- Design and implement enterprise supply solutions to meet programme needs, ensuring alignment with centre category strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective incorporation of centre category strategies into the supply chain plan and design.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in procurement software and systems.
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent, with MCIPS or equivalent professional qualifications desirable.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
