About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Innovation Manager to join our team at Hilton Foods, a leading food processing company. As an Innovation Manager, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through the development and implementation of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute innovation strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and develop new product ideas and technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and market trends.
  • Manage intellectual property and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and suppliers to identify new opportunities and technologies.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in innovation management, IP management, or commercial exploitation within the food processing industry.
  • Strong technical background with a degree in engineering or science; a postgraduate qualification is highly desirable.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in commercially-driven science, engineering, or innovation, with a focus on bringing new technologies to market.
  • Demonstrated success in creating value through technological breakthroughs.
  • Practical problem-solving skills in a real-world environment.
  • Expertise in IP portfolio management and patent drafting is advantageous, though training can be provided for the right candidate.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial management, and project management is considered a plus.
