About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Welcome and Service Manager to lead our team at Attingham Park, one of the most visited National Trust sites in the country. As a key member of our property leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional visitor experiences and ensuring that our welcome areas and bookshop meet the highest standards of service and quality.

You will have overall responsibility for the staff and volunteer teams, ensuring that they are engaged and motivated to provide outstanding customer service. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our welcome areas and bookshop, including managing duty rotas and coordinating car parking, First Aid incidents, and visitor enquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Welcome and Service team to deliver exceptional visitor experiences
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service standards and quality
  • Manage duty rotas and coordinate car parking, First Aid incidents, and visitor enquiries
  • Work closely with other heads of department to deliver the functioning and coordination of the visitor operation
  • Apply organisational and leadership skills to deliver our strategy through a large team
