We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Sandy Balls Holiday Village. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive a memorable experience through excellent service and food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the food preparation areas, equipment, and floors are clean and hygienic.
  • Wash utensils and dishes and make sure they are stored appropriately.
  • Accept deliveries, ensuring ingredients are stored correctly and date rotated.
  • Wash, peel, chop, cut, and cook foodstuffs and help prepare other items on the menu.
  • Work alongside front of house and kitchen team to maximise food margins and minimise wastage.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, and COSHH regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in F&B environment.
  • Excellence in customer service.
  • Good written and verbal communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • A passion for food and hospitality.
  • Resilience, energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
