Field Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Representative to join our team at Mane Contract Services. As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting on-site customer equipment failure inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, repairs, and warranty work.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair military vehicles and equipment on-site and in the field, ensuring compliance with company technical service and statutory regulations.
- Deploy independently to customer sites, responsible for order processing and contractual documentation.
- Manage and maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to statutory regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair operations.
- Deliver training tasks to internal and external customers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Ensure accurate completion of all documentation, including jobsheets and work orders.
- Generate work breakdown structures, cost estimates, and performance specifications to support maintenance and repair activities.
- C&G Heavy Vehicle Repair level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.
- Military vehicle technical or maintenance experience (desirable).
- Test authorization for technical tests specified by statutory authorities.
- Driving license Class C (HGV2) minimum (desirable).
- Experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance, and repair, ideally in the field of military equipment, heavy commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, or specialist vehicle manufacture.
- Experience in completion of relevant technical documentation and paperwork as dictated by industry.
- Skill and experience in the operation of automotive diagnostic equipment, diagnostic fault finding, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of English language, written and spoken.
- Basic knowledge of German language (desirable).
- Good PC skills, particularly with common MS Office applications.
