Nursing Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Associate to join our team on Dunes Ward at Hartley Hospital. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with registered nurses to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to our older adult patients.
Your primary responsibilities will include assessing, planning, and delivering clinical care in line with service and patient needs. You will work independently under the leadership of registered nurses, using your breadth of knowledge across the lifespan and across the fields of nursing to provide holistic and person-centred care.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered nurse associate with a foundation degree in nursing associate practice and current NMC registration. You will also have previous experience of working within a healthcare setting and be able to work effectively in a team under appropriate supervision.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care under the direction of a registered nurse or other registered care professional
- Work as part of a designated clinical and care team delivering care that focuses directly on the needs of the individual and their family
- Develop understanding of all elements of the nursing process and be able to assist the registered nurse in the ongoing assessment, planning, management, and evaluation of care
- Recognise changes in a patient's condition which require the intervention of others and understand when to refer to the supervising registered nurse and other senior colleagues for reassessment of patient care
- Perform procedures as detailed within the NMC Standards for proficiency for Nurse Associate to meet the nursing needs of the patients in their care
