MBDA Sparkworks is seeking a highly skilled and experienced project lead to join our team in Bristol. As a Complex Projects Lead - Effects and Vulnerability, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of complex technical projects, which are deemed critical to the success of emerging Laser DEW technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small teams across several contracts, ranging from internally funded research and development to industry-partnered studies and specific tasks on the high-profile DragonFire MDC project.
  • Interface with customers to elicit and translate customer requirements into concrete activities.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Manage budgets and resources within a team environment.
  • Develop individuals and high-performing teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Proven track record in delivering projects on time, cost, and quality.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources within a team environment.
  • Experience in complex system design in a deeply technical environment.
  • Ability to simplify and codify complex system interactions.
  • DV clearance.
