Job Title: Facilities Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Huboo. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and improvement of our buildings, equipment, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement facilities maintenance plans and schedules to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all regulations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repairs of buildings, equipment, and grounds, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage facility improvement projects, including renovations and upgrades, to enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of our facilities.
  • Work closely with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure compliance with H&S and Environment Regulations, and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Ensure value for money is achieved from all building and maintenance activities, and implement a preventative maintenance strategy to maintain standards and legal compliance.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits of the estate to identify areas for improvement and ensure that our facilities are meeting our high standards.
  • Respond to facility-related emergencies and ensure timely resolution, and keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Undertake regular supplier relationship meetings with contractors and service providers to ensure that our facilities are being maintained to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or relevant position, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality facilities management services.
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices, with a strong understanding of H&S and Environment Regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good analytical/critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • A full clean driving licence and your own transport, as you will be required to travel between multiple sites.
  • Relevant professional qualification will be an advantage, but not essential.
