Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused individual to provide exceptional patient care and support services in our busy medical practice.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and courteous telephone support to patients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Signpost patients to the appropriate healthcare professional or service, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Process appointment requests from patients, utilizing the Care Navigation protocol to ensure efficient and effective scheduling.
  • Provide comprehensive information support services to the practice team, ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient information.
  • Undertake a range of clerical tasks, including data inputting and operation of the EMIS Web system, to support the smooth operation of the practice.
  • Develop a working knowledge of clinical coding and the QOF reporting system to contribute to the practice's quality improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a focal point of communication between patients, doctors, and other members of the clinical and administrative staff, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination of care.
