Position Overview

An exciting chance to become part of the accomplished United Living Infrastructure Services team. We are in search of a Site Supervisor to play a pivotal role in our expansion and achievements. If you are looking for a secure career with a prominent Main Contractor and wish to enhance your expertise in a vibrant setting, this role may be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of United Living Water Limited's contracts with United Utilities. Ensure that site management aligns with client expectations while upholding the company's standards in health & safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Management of Construction Activities:

  • Safety: Uphold site standards, assist in risk assessments, and conduct accident investigations.
  • Production: Adhere to the project schedule.
  • Quality: Maintain high workmanship standards.
  • Problem-solving: Address issues proactively.

Cost Management:

  • Oversee manpower allocation.
  • Manage materials efficiently.
  • Supervise plant and vehicle usage.
  • Address damages and thefts.

Collaboration with Health & Safety Manager:

  • Enhance standards through collaborative site inspections.
  • Respond to improvement notices.
  • Coordinate with Water Operatives to uphold safety and quality benchmarks.

Collaboration with Planning Manager:

  • Assist in construction planning efforts.

Liaison with Client Representatives:

  • Participate in progress meetings.
  • Facilitate daily communication.

Required Qualifications:

  • NRSWA (Supervisors) certification.
  • Water safety passports.
  • Temporary Works Supervisor certification.
  • Supervisory Management training.
  • IOSH / SMSTS qualifications.
  • Significant experience in water-related projects.
  • Valid UK driving license.

Additional Information:

Experience with larger civil engineering projects, including shafts and temporary works, is advantageous.
