Job Description

United Living Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Civils sector.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to oversee the day-to-day supervision of our water contracts. As a Water Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' requirements are met while working in line with our company's health and safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety Management
    • Ensure site standards are maintained, assist with risk assessments, investigate accidents, provide site instructions, and conduct inspections.
  • Production Management
    • Work to program and ensure that construction activities are completed on time.
  • Quality Management
    • Ensure standards of workmanship are maintained, complete quality records, and ensure continuity of process capability.
  • Problem Solving and Troubleshooting

Cost Control

  • Manage manpower, materials, plant, and vehicles to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and control damages and thefts.

Liaison with Health and Safety Manager

  • Work together to improve standards through joint site inspections and reviews of site monitoring results.
  • Deal with improvement notices.
  • Liaison with water operatives.
  • Work together to ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are achieved.
  • Deal with actions from technical audits.
  • Develop and maintain competency levels.

Liaison with Planning Manager

  • Contribute to construction planning.

Liaison with Client Representatives

  • Attend progress meetings and maintain day-to-day communication.

Qualifications and Experience

  • NRSWA (Supervisors)
  • Water safety passports
  • Supervisory Management training
  • IOSH / SMSTS
  • Extensive experience of working on water
  • Full UK driving license

Additional Requirements

  • Waste Water, CSO, shaft, and tunneling experience is beneficial but not necessary.
