Sales Development Professional

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Road Sales team in Basingstoke. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the best in the business and begin your career in sales.
Your RoleOur Road Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel provides hundreds of customers with the services to move their goods across Europe. The sales team works directly to source, engage, and maintain our customer base, ensuring that our customers' shipments are booked in efficiently and delivered on time.
Your Responsibilities- Efficiently process bookings from clients and overseas agents on to our system.
- Provide operational support for the Sales Managers when required.
- Liaise with all relevant parties throughout the shipment to organize the movement of goods by providing exceptional customer service, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
- Deal with any issues that may arise during a shipment and ensure the client and/or Sales Manager is updated.
- Process sales and purchase invoices of the branch.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in meetings and training sessions.
- Make sales calls, engage, and onboard new customers.
- Analyze sales performance statistics and prepare/deliver customer review meetings.
- The minimum entry requirement for this apprenticeship is Five GCSEs at grades 3 – 9 / A*-D including Maths & English.

- Previous use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel is beneficial.

- This is an entry-level training position. If you are already qualified or experienced in this area of work, this is unlikely to be the position for you. However, we would welcome your application for one of our other vacancies which can be found on our website.
