About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Guildford Spectrum Bowling Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the department, supervising a team of staff, and promoting excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of staff to ensure the smooth operation of the bowling centre
  • Oversee the recruitment and development of staff at all levels within the team
  • Deal with day-to-day staff management, including training and staff performance issues
  • Promote and maintain good public relations and excellent customer service
  • Be fully aware of the courses, facilities, and programmes available in the bowling complex
Requirements
  • Experience of a customer-facing environment
  • Experience of working in a supervisory role
  • The skill to establish key relationships with staff, customers, and other user groups
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Have a 'hands-on' approach
  • Cash handling experience preferable
  • Experience of working within a team
