Key Responsibilities:

* Support the Distribution Manager in managing the distribution centre team performance in key areas such as financial, service, people, and operations.
* Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, including vehicle operator licensing legislation.
* Champion the company values and lead by example, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve the company vision.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with drivers and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.

Key Skills and Attributes:

* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
* Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation operations, with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
