Position:
Operations Controller

Overview:
Our client is seeking an Operations Controller to support their Operations Control Centre. This role is crucial in ensuring that a safe and timely schedule is maintained across the network, aligning with customer expectations for reliability and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments and external partners to manage the daily flight schedule.
- Monitor, anticipate, and respond to real-time operational events.
- Conduct crew scheduling for all pertinent flights.
- Ensure compliance with the company's Flight Time Limitations (FTL) regulations.
- Maintain oversight of all flights during shifts to guarantee on-time operations.
- Communicate with handling agents to keep them informed of the daily itinerary and any disruptions.
- Oversee flight plans and slots for all airports within the network.
- Generate reports for management as needed.
- Update and maintain spreadsheets related to flight safety.
- Monitor weather conditions and NOTAM reports for relevant destinations.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing a high workload and maintaining service excellence.

Requirements:
- Experience in aviation with a strong commercial understanding.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to a shift system (12-hour shifts) that may change on short notice due to operational needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (including calendar management and email).
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to responsibilities, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines while making confident decisions.

Desirable Skills:
- FAA Dispatch License or equivalent.
- Experience in crew scheduling.
- In-depth knowledge of the PPS (Flight Planning) system.
- Familiarity with NavBlue / N-OC systems.
- Ideally, at least one year of experience in a commercial airline operations department.
- Understanding of UK CAA FTL regulations.
