Job Title: Children Staff Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children Staff Nurse to join our team at Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our intermediate care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Children Staff Nurse to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in our intermediate care facility, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the Intermediate Care Sister/Charge Nurse to ensure effective communication, information sharing, and continuity of care.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and other agencies to ensure effective service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient nursing needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with NMC standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
Person Specification

We are looking for a Children Staff Nurse who possesses:

  • A range of extended clinical skills and the ability to demonstrate clinical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Organizational and managerial skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proven teaching and assessing skills, with the ability to develop and deliver educational programs.
