Operations Supervisor

Due to rapid growth, our client is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join their team. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including vessel owners, office staff, and marine personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Operations Manager in their absence, after suitable training
  • Work alongside the Operations Manager on pre-planning, seeking authorization, and sending inspection reports
  • Assist with the operations of all owned, managed, chartered, and sub-chartered vessels
  • Conduct investigations and report findings and suggested rectifications to the Operations Manager
  • Ensure compliance with ISM, ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 systems onboard all required vessels
  • Audit and inspect vessels, including daily, weekly, monthly, and annual checks
  • Plan and oversee port services and associated service providers
