Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit Control Assistant to join our team at Gregory Distribution Ltd. As a Credit Control Assistant, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and assessing the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to analyze and assess customer creditworthiness through thorough credit checks and payment history reviews.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure timely payments and resolve any disputes or issues that may arise.
  • Monitor and manage customer accounts to prevent bad debt and ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify potential credit risks and provide recommendations for mitigating these risks.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in credit management to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
