Key Responsibilities:
Professional Leadership: Provide expert advice and professional consultation, influencing the practices of our committed team.
In-Depth Evaluations: Employ Asset+ and other Youth Offending Service tools to comprehend and support the distinct paths of young people.
Case Management: Supervise a variety of high-risk cases, ensuring compliance with National and Service Standards with meticulous attention.
Tailored Interventions: Create customized plans that resonate with young individuals and their families, aiming to mitigate risks and prevent reoffending.
Comprehensive Reporting: Draft detailed reports for Court or Youth Offender Panels and lead multi-agency case discussions when a social care perspective is essential.
Risk Mitigation: Ensure that safeguarding measures are effective and responsive, protecting the futures of those we serve.
Specialized Knowledge: Set a standard in specific areas of practice, ensuring excellence and promoting continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Qualifications: A recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Care England, or equivalent status as a qualified Probation Officer.
Relevant Experience: Demonstrated success in working with children or young adults in challenging circumstances.
Legal Acumen: A thorough understanding of youth justice, children's legislation, and current regulatory practices.
Mentorship Abilities: Experience in mentoring both new and experienced professionals, serving as a source of knowledge and best practices.
Collaborative Approach: Proven ability to build strong partnerships with various agencies, united in the mission of supporting youth.
