Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Support and mentor nursery staff to ensure high-quality care and education for children, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Build positive relationships with families, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional customer service.
- Implement and monitor nursery policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all children and staff.
- Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to develop and maintain an effective curriculum that meets the needs of all children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Participate in recruitment, training, and performance management of nursery staff, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
- Assist with administrative duties and maintain accurate records as required by regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Early Years or above qualification.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a nursery setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education and development, including relevant regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead by example.
- A commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in all aspects of nursery operations.
