Job Summary:
The Salvation Army is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Denbighshire. As part of our STEP Project, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families in temporary accommodation, empowering them to improve their wellbeing and build a brighter future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with our team to provide support and guidance to individuals and families in temporary emergency accommodation.
- Assist in delivering a programme of meaningful activities and co-production opportunities, promoting structure and purpose for those we support.
- Work an evening and night-time shift pattern, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and IT skills, with a positive attitude towards supporting vulnerable individuals.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
- Align with the spiritual principles of The Salvation Army, upholding our values of compassion and service.
Requirements:
- Ability to work an evening and night-time shift pattern.
- Good communication and IT skills.
- Positive motivation towards supporting homeless and vulnerable people.
- Ability to work in sympathy with the spiritual principles of The Salvation Army.
