About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at Expleo. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing cybersecurity consultancy advice to clients in the BFSI and Energy and Utilities sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies and solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and frameworks.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses, proposing effective mitigation strategies to minimize threats.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of secure network architectures and systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cybersecurity measures are integrated seamlessly into projects.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to clients on best practices in cybersecurity, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.
  • Support the growth of Expleo's Cybersecurity Practice through conference attendance, publications, and workshop participation.
Requirements
  • Relevant education or industry-recognised certifications in computing-related subjects, such as MSc, BSc, GIAC, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CASP+, CySA+, Security+, or CC.
  • Demonstrable experience with industry frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS, NIS2, DORA, and CIS.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and practices, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and secure network design.
  • Proficiency in cloud security principles and practices, with experience in risk assessment, vulnerability management, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to produce reports, both written and verbal, to senior stakeholders, including customers and non-specialists.
  • Awareness and understanding of emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Skills
  • Understanding of Systems Engineering, with familiarity with incident response and threat intelligence.
  • Project management experience, with a proven track record of leading successful cybersecurity projects.
