Position: Cloud and Modern Workplace Technical Architect

Lucid Connect Ltd specializes in business transformation, collaborating with leading organizations across various sectors. Our focus encompasses transformation services in Cloud and Datacentre, Modern Workplace, Cybersecurity, Digital Workspace, and Managed Services.

We are seeking skilled Technical Architects to deliver strategic consultancy services. Ideal candidates will possess an innovative mindset, staying abreast of emerging technologies while demonstrating the ability to understand customer perspectives.

This role involves working closely with Solution Architecture and Project Delivery teams to develop comprehensive designs that align with client needs, and where necessary, translating these designs into operational solutions.

Additionally, you will conduct thorough evaluations of existing IT services, converting your findings into detailed reports that highlight key improvement opportunities and outline the roadmap for implementation.

This dynamic position will require a mix of working from our office, remote work, and occasional travel to client locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Sale Activities:

  • Collaborate with the Solution Architecture team to create a detailed Cost Model during the proposal phase.
  • Support the Solution Architecture team in workshops during the sales process by providing expertise on specific technologies.

Post-Sale Activities:

  • Conduct technical discovery assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of client environments.
  • Perform peer reviews of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Cost Models.
  • Serve as the technical authority, overseeing and governing large-scale transformation projects.
  • Engage in Technical Account Management and contribute to strategic roadmaps for assigned clients.
  • Generate both high-level and low-level technical design documentation as necessary, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and vendor architecture principles during implementation.
  • Act as the technical authority on the company's solution portfolio.
  • Translate solution designs into Technical Architecture documentation.
  • Conduct technical design workshops as part of the post-sale design phase.
  • Perform scoping activities and develop the Project Scope, detailing project deliverables.
  • Create Low-Level Design Documents and Functional/UAT Test Plans associated with deliverables.
  • Assist the Project Management Office in translating deliverables into a Project Plan as required.
  • Present Technical Architecture documentation to clients alongside the Project Management Office to facilitate project scheduling.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Technical Consulting team throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with architectural standards and best practices.

Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a talent for creatively addressing technical challenges, are crucial.

Maintaining a strong client focus, understanding client needs, and translating them into effective technical solutions is vital.

Excellent time management skills and attention to detail are necessary to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

Proven experience in leading customer meetings, engaging in technical discussions, and meticulously documenting technical information is essential.

For a Cloud-focused Technical Architect role, candidates should hold Architect-level certifications in Microsoft Azure Cloud, including industry accreditations such as Microsoft AZ-104 and AZ-305 as a minimum.
