Role Summary
MARS Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled 2nd Line IT Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients, troubleshooting desktop, telephony, network, and printing errors, and ensuring that all systems are running smoothly.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, with excellent user management skills and a strong understanding of Windows 10, MS Server 2019/2022, MS Office 365, Active Directory/Entra ID & Group Policy administration, IP networking & telephony, DNS, DHCP, Server, network and desktop hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot desktop, telephony, network, and printing errors
- Investigate software issues and carry out daily checks
- Ensure that all systems are running smoothly and compliant with Cyber Essential Plus and ISO 27001 policies
- Support and install hardware, software, and mobile devices
- Administer servers and gain insight into infrastructure-based technology
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Excellent user management skills
- Strong understanding of Windows 10, MS Server 2019/2022, MS Office 365, Active Directory/Entra ID & Group Policy administration, IP networking & telephony, DNS, DHCP, Server, network and desktop hardware
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
