About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Assistant to join our team at Poppy Lodge. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to vulnerable young people with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support young people to appointments and activities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Complete relevant paperwork and documentation to ensure accurate records.
  • Undertake household tasks and maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Engage young people in tasks and activities, promoting their social and emotional development.

Requirements

  • Full UK Driver's Licence and access to own vehicle required.
  • A big heart and passion to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
  • Patience, resilience, and calmness in challenging situations.
