Health, Safety, Sustainability and Quality Systems Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Health, Safety, Sustainability and Quality Systems Manager to join our team at John Sisk and Son. As a key member of our HSSQ team, you will be responsible for reviewing feedback from internal stakeholders and external assurance activities, driving continuous improvement through the maintenance of compliant systems within a changing legislative landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain an efficient HSSQ Management System that is clearly understood by all stakeholders.
- Maintain knowledge of legislative changes that impact operational delivery and ensure compliance.
- Create and update policies, procedures, processes, and other key associated content to support HSSQ Management Systems.
- Engage with HSSQ Leads to contextualize improvement opportunities and support the implementation of changes.
- Support the HSSQ Coordinator in embedding changes and ensuring seamless operational delivery.
Requirements
- Robust knowledge of all aspects of HSSQ Management Systems, including governance processes.
- Strong understanding of organizational management and collaboration principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly experienced in construction and civil engineering, with a strong track record of delivering HSSQ Management Systems.
- Member of National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) at Diploma level or equivalent.
- Member of Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) or working towards.
- Membership of Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) or working towards.
- Qualified Lead Auditor.
