Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive the growth of our sustainability and energy solutions business. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for our energy and sustainability products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for energy and sustainability products and services.
Build and Maintain RelationshipsBuild and maintain relationships with key clients and industry leaders to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth.
Collaborate with MarketingCollaborate with our marketing department to create effective sales campaigns and promotional materials that showcase our energy and sustainability solutions.
Stay Up-to-Date on Market TrendsStay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in sustainable technology to ensure our sales strategies are aligned with the latest industry developments.
Represent the CompanyRepresent Johnson Controls International at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events to promote our brand and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Prepare Sales ReportsPrepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for senior management to ensure we are meeting our sales targets and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements- Extensive Sales Experience
Extensive experience in sales, particularly in the energy or sustainability sector, with a proven track record of developing new business and managing client relationships.
Strong Sustainability KnowledgeStrong understanding of sustainability and energy management practices, including renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency solutions.
Excellent Communication SkillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to TravelAbility to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications- Business or Environmental Science Degree
Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Renewable Energy ExperienceExperience with renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency solutions, including solar, wind, and energy storage.
Sustainability Reporting ExperienceFamiliarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and regulations, including GRI and CDP.
Proven Sales Track RecordProven track record of developing new business and managing client relationships, with a strong focus on sales growth and revenue generation.
