Senior Governance Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to join our Governance and Stability Practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our growing portfolio of programmes and supporting business development activities.
Our Senior Managers play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects, which focus on strengthening governance and enhancing stability around the world. You will be responsible for managing large-scale development programming, including FCDO-funded programmes, and will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality results in complex and dynamic environments.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the project management unit, including line managing junior project managers and overseeing their management of budgets, invoices, contracts, and recruitment processes.
- Quality assurance of project deliverables.
- Supporting business development activities, including preparing for and leading responses to complex competitive public tenders.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can bring a strong track record of delivering high-quality results in complex and dynamic environments. Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a project director or senior project manager overseeing large-scale (£10m plus) development programming, including FCDO-funded programmes.
- Excellent written English and fluent spoken English.
- Desirable: experience in managing large grant facilities in fragile or conflict-affected environments, expertise in humanitarian programming, and language skills (e.g., Arabic, French, Turkish, Ukrainian).
