About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to join our Governance and Stability Practice. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of our growing portfolio of programmes and support business development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run the project management unit, including line managing junior project managers and overseeing budget, invoice, contract, and recruitment processes.
  • Quality assure project deliverables.
  • Maintain relationships with donors, manage reporting and deliverable flows, and anticipate issues and problems.
  • Work with the Team Leader and Project Director to assess programme direction and provide guidance, manage risks and issues.
  • Play a key role in new programme and funding development, either by delivering existing projects to high standards or preparing for and leading responses to complex competitive public tenders.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience as a project director or senior project manager overseeing large-scale development programming, including FCDO-funded programmes.
  • Excellent written English and fluent spoken English.
  • Experience in managing large grant facilities in fragile or conflict-affected environments.
  • Expertise in humanitarian programming.
  • Language skills (e.g., Arabic, French, Turkish, Ukrainian).
