About the Role
Due to our continued success, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to oversee construction projects within the Eastern Region. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our developments are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed construction programmes for multiple sites simultaneously.
- Monitor progress of construction activities and ensure adherence to approved specifications and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with Site Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to coordinate all aspects of the construction process.
- Implement effective cost control measures and manage budgets diligently.
- Maintain strong communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager within the residential construction sector. You will have a strong understanding of building regulations, quality standards, and health & safety procedures.
- Relevant construction qualification (e.g., HNC/HND in Building, Construction Management degree).
- Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong budget management and cost control abilities.
- Proficiency in using construction software and tools.
