Underwriting Manager, Property Treaty

As a key member of our Class Underwriting Performance management team, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic goals of the Corporation. Your expertise in Treaty risks will be instrumental in developing and leading the underwriting policy for the Property Treaty class.
You will be responsible for providing oversight of technical underwriting issues, working closely with other Lloyd's functions to support the Corporation's objectives. Your analytical, communication, and decision-making skills will be essential in producing high-quality analysis, guidance, and insight on your product line.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and leading the underwriting policy for the Property Treaty class
- Providing oversight of technical underwriting issues
- Working with syndicates to understand and support their performance and strategic decision-making
- Producing high-quality analysis, guidance, and insight on your product line
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A strong underwriting, pricing, or exposure management background and expertise in Treaty risks
- A sound understanding of the Lloyd's market, its regulatory framework, and its risk appetites
- Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and stakeholder management
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement of underwriting standards and practices
