Underwriting Manager, Property Treaty

Role OverviewWe're seeking a seasoned Property Treaty specialist with underwriting, exposure management, and pricing expertise to join our team as an Underwriting Performance Manager. As a key member of our Class Underwriting Performance management team, you'll play a critical role in developing and leading the underwriting policy for the Property Treaty class.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead the underwriting policy for the Property Treaty class, providing oversight of technical underwriting issues.
- Work with other Lloyd's functions to support the strategic goals of the Corporation.
- Produce high-quality analysis, guidance, and insight on your product line.
- Engage and knowledge-share with syndicates to understand and support their performance and strategic decision-making.
- A strong underwriting, pricing, or exposure management background and expertise in Treaty risks.
- A sound understanding of the Lloyd's market, its regulatory framework, and its risk appetites.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and stakeholder management.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement of underwriting standards and practices.
This is a technical leadership role that requires you to role model the Lloyd's leadership profile and capabilities, with a focus on communicating with impact, making courageous decisions, and building trust and fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
