HR Project Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HR Project Support Specialist to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As an HR Project Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of HR projects and initiatives, working closely with the HR team and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives, including data analysis, system implementation, and research.
- Collaborate with the HR team and other stakeholders to gather and coordinate information, ensuring quality and accuracy of data.
- Assist in the development of competency frameworks and job specific requirements for every role, capturing relevant information and inputting it into HR systems.
- Work with HR teams and other services to gather key information regarding job specific requirements for every role, collating this information and entering the details into HR systems.
- Analyze information, highlighting potential issues to support informed decision-making.
- Make evidence-based and outcome-focused decisions using proactive risk management and within set procedures, making recommendations to managers about more complex decisions.
- Coordinate processes and systems, inputting ideas, and carrying out research to support the redesign of key processes.
- Develop solutions to overcome any barriers to new ways of working, collaborating positively with others to develop solutions.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings and working groups and collate feedback.
- Monitor the progress of work streams, escalating risk proactively.
- Champion and embed equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout all workstreams and employee experience.
- Provide guidance, advice, and support to colleagues and help tailor reports or analysis to their specific business needs.
- Support the development and testing of aspects of the system, advising on how best to meet business requirements.
- 3 A-levels, NVQ 4, HND or diploma (or equivalent experience)
- ICT foundation qualification (or equivalent experience)
- CIPD is preferable but not essential.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Understanding of HR Systems and HR Data across a range of processes from recruitment, learning, people data.
- Able to quickly learn, navigate, and understand a variety of new systems with different functionality and be able to provide guidance to people with varying levels of expertise.
- Commitment and experience of best practice EDI initiatives and procedures relating to data protection.
- Experience of recording, processing, and manipulating large amounts of data.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and confidence to work collaboratively with other services and teams.
- Organised, able to prioritise and manage own workload.
- Able to use initiative and focus on a number of projects and competing demands, planning and organising own workload in an environment of change and ambiguity.
- Innovative and driven by a desire to achieve goals.
